Medical Coordination

Vladimir Novikov is a physician, Private Medical Advisor and Family Healthcare Coordinator. He helps preserve continuity across medical information, treating specialists, clinics, second opinions, complex care pathways and follow-up.

A medical coordinator connects medical information, specialists and clinics into one coherent pathway.

The scope

What is coordinated

Depending on the situation and agreed needs, medical coordination may connect information, people and actions across one continuing pathway.

  1. 01

    Medical information

Organising supplied and authorised records into a usable chronology, with important context and unresolved questions visible

  2. 02

    Consultation preparation

Preparing concise background, relevant documents and questions so a consultation begins with a clearer medical picture

  3. 03

    Physicians and clinics

Supporting authorised communication and practical preparation while the patient retains the choice of physician or institution

  4. 04

    Second opinions

Structuring the question, assembling relevant information and incorporating the resulting specialist conclusion into the wider pathway

  5. 05

    Multidisciplinary communication

Helping recommendations from several treating participants remain connected, legible and available for appropriate discussion

  6. 06

    Long-term pathways

Maintaining context across investigations, treatment stages, hospitalisation, rehabilitation and subsequent review

  7. 07

    Medical travel

Preparing medical information and clinic requirements before a journey, then incorporating meaningful new conclusions after it

  8. 08

    Follow-up and agreed actions

Keeping agreed actions, responsible participants, timing and unresolved matters visible over time

  9. 09

    Continuity across locations

Preserving context when physicians, clinics or adult family members are in different cities, regions or countries

Communication in English and other languages with families, physicians and clinics can be supported by AI-assisted interpretation or translation, including tools designed to handle medical terminology. Where exact or high-stakes wording is critical, a qualified human interpreter or translator may be required. This language support assists coordination and does not replace treating professionals.

Clinical context

Medically qualified, not merely administrative

Ordinary administration can organise schedules, logistics and documents. Medically qualified coordination can also read those practical elements in their medical context.

  • Organise the individual medical chronology and the information relevant to a physician
  • Identify missing, conflicting or unresolved information for appropriate follow-up
  • Connect recommendations from several specialists without taking command of their clinical roles
  • Preserve context across separate episodes, locations and stages of care

Vladimir does not replace treating physicians or specialists, and he does not make decisions instead of the adult patient. His role is physician-led private medical advisory and family healthcare coordination within agreed professional boundaries.

What a Private Medical Advisor coordinates

An adaptable pathway

How the work may proceed

The process is not a rigid clinical protocol. Depending on the situation and agreed needs, it may include:

  1. 01

    Initial review

Understand the current medical situation, objectives and available information

  2. 02

    Consent & authority

Define accompanied family members, authorised representatives and information-sharing boundaries

  3. 03

    Structure the medical picture

Organise the individual chronology and significant medical information

  4. 04

    Identify priorities

Clarify unresolved issues, missing information, and planned or overdue follow-up

  5. 05

    Define the roadmap

Organise relevant consultations, investigations, reviews and next actions

  6. 06

    Coordinate

Support communication with appropriate physicians, clinics and other authorised participants

  7. 07

Update the Personal Electronic Medical Record

Incorporate meaningful new events, recommendations and follow-up information into the individual record

  8. 08

    Maintain continuity

Track agreed actions and preserve context over time

One person, one record

The Personal Electronic Medical Record

Each accompanied family member may have a separate Personal Electronic Medical Record. Records for different people are never mixed. Meaningful consultations, investigations, specialist conclusions, recommendations, follow-up and relevant monitoring can be incorporated to support continuity and preparation for future consultations.

It is a private coordination record, not a replacement for official institutional medical documentation. Real family or client medical records are not stored on novikovhealth.com.

Where agreed, the owner may receive a protected personal copy on a dedicated removable digital storage device. The coordinator may maintain a separate protected working archive, with each person’s record kept logically separate.

Situational, not prescriptive

When this model may be useful

The model may be relevant when continuity and one medically qualified coordination point would make a complex situation easier to understand and manage.

  • 01Several specialists are involved
  • 02Records are distributed across different clinics
  • 03An older relative requires coordinated follow-up
  • 04Adult family members live in different cities or countries
  • 05Long-term treatment or rehabilitation is underway
  • 06A second opinion is being organised
  • 07Medical travel is planned
  • 08A family office needs one medically qualified coordination point

A defined role

Professional boundaries

Coordination supports continuity; it does not transfer clinical authority.

  • Treating physicians retain clinical responsibility, and Vladimir does not replace specialists
  • The adult patient makes decisions with the relevant treating professionals
  • Novikov Health is not an emergency service. Coordination must never delay urgent local medical care.
  • Coordination across cities or countries does not imply independent clinical licensure in every jurisdiction
  • Private coordination records do not replace institutional medical records
  • Wearable and home-device data are supplementary and do not independently establish a diagnosis or determine treatment

Discretion by design

Confidentiality follows the pathway

Consent and proper authority shape access and communication. Information is shared only to the minimum necessary scope, individual records are maintained separately, and agreed communication channels support professional discretion. An NDA can be considered where appropriate.

The public Novikov Health website is not the storage location for family or client medical records.

A careful first step

Discuss the coordination need, not the medical archive

A first conversation can clarify the situation, the people involved and whether this coordination model may be appropriate. Detailed medical records should not be sent through the public website.
