A professional working principle

Confidentiality

Private medical coordination involves highly sensitive information. Novikov Health is built around professional discretion, clear authority, separate individual records and controlled information sharing.

Discretion by design

Discretion is part of the service

Confidentiality is not a statement added at the end of the process. Sensitive medical and family information should be handled deliberately, used for the agreed coordination purpose and kept from unnecessary circulation. The same discretion applies to the person’s medical context and to the family circumstances around it.

  1. 01

    Purpose

Use information for the agreed coordination task

  2. 02

    Proportion

Share only what is relevant to authorised participants

  3. 03

    Continuity

Maintain professional discretion throughout and after the work

Consent and authority

The person remains central to decisions about their information

Sharing with relatives, representatives or family-office personnel depends on the person’s consent or other proper authority, the agreed purpose and the necessary scope. Family membership alone does not create automatic access to another adult’s medical information.

  1. 01

Authorised recipients and communication boundaries may be defined at the beginning

  2. 02

Where a legal representative is involved, authority should be appropriately established depending on the circumstances and applicable requirements

  3. 03

For a minor, legal-representative involvement is required; clinical decisions remain with appropriately responsible treating child-health specialists

One person, one record

Individual medical histories remain separate

Each accompanied family member has a separate Personal Electronic Medical Record. Records belonging to different people are never mixed, and access to one person’s information does not automatically imply access to another’s.

The protected owner copy and the coordinator’s separately protected working archive also remain organised by person. They are distinct from each other and from the public website.

Minimum necessary sharing

The task determines the information—not the other way around

Access to and sharing of medical information is limited to what is necessary for the agreed task and authorised participants. Relevance may differ between consultation preparation, a second opinion, medical travel or continuing coordination.

  • Not every participant needs every document
  • A consultation package may be prepared for one defined purpose
  • Unnecessary forwarding, copying and duplication should be avoided

Agreed working procedures

Communication and document handling can be defined in advance

01

Communication channels and document-transfer methods may be agreed before sensitive information is exchanged. Where appropriate, copying or forwarding can be limited, and handling, retention, return or deletion can follow an agreed procedure subject to applicable professional and legal obligations.

02

Family and family-office procedures

Vladimir may work within agreed family or family-office procedures, including authorised contact persons, communication boundaries, information-sharing rules and a defined reporting format. An NDA may be considered where appropriate; it is not presented as mandatory in every engagement.

A firm public boundary

The public website is not the medical record

novikovhealth.com is a public professional website. It is not a patient portal, does not store real client or family medical records and provides no medical-document upload. The Personal Electronic Medical Record and the coordinator working archive exist separately from the website.

Detailed medical records and highly sensitive identity information should not be sent through an initial public contact channel.

Confidentiality is the professional working principle. Privacy explains how the public website handles visitor data.

Website Privacy

After cooperation

Professional discretion does not simply end with an engagement

The expectation of careful handling continues after cooperation ends, subject to applicable professional, legal and agreed obligations. This does not replace specific retention, return or deletion requirements that may apply to the circumstances.

Digital risk awareness

Use less data, create fewer unnecessary copies

Digital tools can introduce cloud-service, device, third-party access, metadata and re-identification risks. Appropriate practice may include data minimisation, awareness of access paths, de-identification where suitable and avoiding unnecessary copies. Multilingual AI tools may involve external processing, so sensitive information should be shared with them only through an agreed workflow and to the minimum necessary scope; the tool and channel require prior review and agreement. No perfect-security or zero-risk claim is made. A qualified human interpreter or translator may be used for critical communication instead.

A discreet first contact

Begin with the coordination need

Initial contact should remain brief and should not include detailed medical records or highly sensitive identity documents.
